Andreas E. Moffett

Founding Partner

Andreas is a litigator who has represented both $30 billion companies and tenants who can’t make rent. Known for his drive, creativity, and commitment, Andreas founded Orion Impact Litigation PC to bring elite, “Big Law” precision and creative affirmative strategy to the most pressing social and environmental issues of our time.

Having litigated high-stakes matters for Fortune 500 clients across the tobacco, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology sectors, Andreas understands the corporate defense playbook from the inside.

On the plaintiff side, Andreas has helped secure over $19 million in combined verdicts and awards in high-stakes civil rights and complex commercial disputes. He has represented leading environmental advocacy groups—such as the Sierra Club—in high-profile greenwashing class actions against global industry leaders, and applies a fierce commitment to pro bono work to hold powerful institutions accountable when no one else will.

Outside of the courtroom, Andreas is a critically acclaimed operatic tenor. He has performed professionally across the East Coast—including appearances alongside Andrea Bocelli and the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra—with his work recently hailed as “one of the best performances of the year (in any caliber of theater)” – @DMVTheatre, 2026. In his spare time, he loves foraging for medicinal plants and exploring nature with his daughter.

Representative Matters

Represented the Sierra Club alongside a class of consumers in a widely publicized greenwashing class action against the three largest companies in the water-bottling industry for recyclability claims (Coca-Cola, Nestlé/BlueTriton, and Niagara).

Epps et al. v. City and County of Denver (2021). Andreas helped secure a landmark $14 million federal jury verdict in a three-week civil rights trial for protesters against the Denver Police Department. For its efforts, the trial team was recognized with the ACLU’s 2022 Edward Sherman Award for ‘outstanding legal work on behalf of furthering civil liberties.” A Law Week Colorado “Top Verdict” of 2022.

Lead associate on trial team that secured a $5 million complex commercial arbitration award (AAA) for a government contractor plaintiff.
